We know first-hand how hard it is make time for exercise in a busy life. Setting aside those 1-2 hours to go to the gym is more often than not impossible.
We realised that working out at home would be the far better option, but doing so directly on the living room floor was neither comfortable nor suitable. In our search for exercise mats we couldn't find what we were looking for.

WHEN DESIGNING MIRAMAT
When designing Miramat, we wanted to use only the highest grade, sustainable materials. It was also important for us to use materials that had the right combination of strength, sustainability and comfort.
Since most practitioners use strength, cardio, yoga and stretching in combination, it didn't make sense to us to have multiple mats at home for different purposes. We wanted to design a mat that was the best in each of these areas, without compromises. It needed to be better than every other yoga mat and every other exercise mat, combined!
And it needed to be huge! Most mats are so narrow that you'll be balancing on a narrow strip, and probably touching the floor as much as the mat itself. We wanted to create enough room to comfortably move around.

Miramat is big! More than double the size of regular yoga and exercise mats.

Why is Miramat so big?
We've found that the regular width of exerrcise and yoga mats is so narrow that it significantly restricts your movement. Therefore, we decided to more than double the size, so that you can focus on your exercise instead of finding your balance on a narrow strip of mat.

Which side of the Miramat do I use?
The top surface has micro-ribs for maximum friction for the person. This is the surface you exercise on.
The dotted underside is specially design to prevent Miramat from sliding on any floor surface.
Can I put my treadmill, elliptical, stationary bike or any other gym equipment on a Miramat?
Yes, absolutely. Miramat will protect your floor and provide extra support and padding for any of your equipment.
Does the Miramat come in different colors?
The Miramat comes in black color only.
I just received my Miramat. Will it get softer?
Miramat is a high-end mat that will keep getting better with use and time. It will require an initial break-in to unleash its full potential. The surface will grow softer with use and provide even better friction. If you are doing cardio exercises with shoes, the mat will break in over a week or two. Slightly longer for other exercises.

How do I clean my Miramat?
Miramat cleans easily by applying some mild soap with a damp towel. Wipe off any soap residues with a second damp towel.
Is the Miramat easy to put away?
Yes, Roll the mat with the top surface facing outwards. Use the two complimentary storage straps to hold it, and it is ready for storage.
